WELCOME to AJJLS HISTORY with YORKIES

Hi, I'm Amy Dawson-Smith, formally from Northeast Ohio, currently Delaware, Ohio, North of Columbus, Ohio. My family and I rescued a Adult YORKIE by the name of "Fang" in 1987. His owner was going into a nursing home and was unable to find anyone to care for the aged male Yorkie. We had a long history with all types of animals so caring for Fang was easy and heart warming. It took us about a micro second to fall in love with him. He was adorable love but a bit of a ragamuffin, which only made him cuter. It broke our heart that he was only with us for a year but what a fun filled year. Fang was loving & playful and even funny. His loss caused a whole in our home so........... I thought I would get a BEAUTIFUL YORKIE PUPPY. Then I thought she needed a YORKIE PUPPY friend of her own, then I added a third and that was the begging of our life with these Princess's and Prince's.

My husband Lee and daughter Jennifer, son Joshua all helped with the daily care of the AKC pretty and handsome males and female Yorkies. We are blessed with their AFFECTIONATE PERSONALITY, BEAUTIFUL BABY DOLL FACES, GORGEOUS TRADITIONAL YORKSHIRE TERRIER FACES & PRECIOUS PUPPIES.

Each day we (I) thrive on continued education about YORKIES & DOGS & PUPPIES.

I've learned about AKC Standards for the Yorkshire Terrier Breed, proper structure,bite,color,walk, quality,temperaments,personality. training,evaluation on conformation, weights & lbs, registration - reg., pedigree,linage, physical health and mental health too.

Vets & books have taught me about genetics, diseases, reproduction, artificial insemination, medications, breeding, birthing, new born care, post delivery care of the mama, emergency care, and endless other useful education that is PRICELESS in the world or dogs,puppies and YORKIES.

I then discovered the world of AKC SHOWING! This was/is my passion. It is interesting and allows you to be judged on your achievements with your YORKIE.

Dog Shows give me such an adrenalin rush, I LOVE the COMPETITION. Each Show RIBBON are DREAMS come true. I am taking a break from the show world for a short time. My personal and business ethics dictate I spend most of my time here at home caring for the adult Yorkies and puppies.

I receive the gift of kisses and snuggles from each dog and puppy. I am blessed to share my life with them from the moment of birth. It is priceless to watch a yorkie puppy grow & develop their personality, and when I see my clients fall in LOVE with their new puppy.

My commitment to my dogs and puppies passes to you when you come to take your silky little girl or little boy to their new home. I am available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. No question is to small. I am available for meeting with you and your friends and family. I will share the education and knowledge I have with you.

All puppies are AKC ( AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB ) registered and my CHAMPION pedigrees include .... Judabob, Rothby, Higgins, Barbrella, Jofre, Wildweir, Clarkwyn, Jentre, Wynsum and my European pedigrees are from the Netherlands, Austria,Sweden, Denmark, Finland, These are Ancrownes,Love-Dane,Eburacum,Havago.

The mothers (dams) give birth in our home and remain there with their baby's. We recommend that you continue to keep your new yorkie puppy in a familiar environment for safety reasons when your not supervising them. We know a baby playpen works well and can be easily rolled from room to room., and travels well even when you fly or at a hotel, resort, friends home or anywhere both in the United States or out of the Country. Of course your YORKIE BABY DOLL will want you to carry him/her every where. You'll find yourself wanting to do that to, yorkie cuddles and kisses are so dear and sweet it is a joy and pleasure to have them share your life.

YORKIE PUPPIES are ADORABLE, BEAUTIFUL, BABIES who love to be treated just as you would your child. It is easy to spoil and pamper them., and they will let you dress them, buy them toys, groom them, treat them to a spa, take lots of PUPPY PICTURES, give them healthy dog treats, carry them in dog carriers, ride in the car, go shopping with you,ride boats with life jackets, play on the beach, wear bows and tiaras, buy them wholesome natural nutritious puppy food or dog food train them as therapy dogs, take them to school, live with your college child to keep them from getting homesick, wrap them in blankets and sit on your lap or rock in a chair. They love children (size-age-personality appropriate) , even a sporting event or watching you swing the golf club from the golf cart, they will go to birthday parties and entertain everyone, book clubs, card parties, festivals,parks, even ridding bikes (they love to sit in the basket and feel the breeze in their silky hair.
